• About St. Anthony Hospice

  • About St. Anthony HospiceFor more than 30 years, St. Anthony Hospice has been serving the Denver Metro and surrounding areas.

St. Anthony Hospice brings compassion, comfort and support to patients and their families in our care. We understand the importance of living life with dignity and in comfort, surrounded by family and friends.

We are accredited by The Joint Commission which means we deliver “best-in-class” care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Working under the direction of a physician who is board-certified in hospice and palliative care, our interdisciplinary team of nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers are able to address any physical, psychological or spiritual challenges faced at the end of life, because it is about how you live that is most important.

Hospice care is provided at home or at a facility

Hospice care is provided in private homes, nursing homes and hospitals. Wherever you receive care, St. Anthony Hospice clinicians will provide compassionate, professional support and work.

Hospice care is tailored to your needs

The goal of hospice care is to provide symptom management and support through the creation of an individualized plan of care based on the patient and/or family goals to maintain comfort at the end of life.

Treating the whole person…body, mind and spirit

St. Anthony Hospice is the longest standing Catholic sponsored hospice program in Denver, with a rich heritage steeped within the Catholic Church. Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities. In addition to providing excellent clinical care, we take special care to pay attention to spiritual well-being. Our chaplains (Catholic and non-denominational) are available as needed.

Comfort and support for loved ones

St. Anthony Hospice offers comprehensive bereavement support for close family and friends. We offer grief and loss support groups, individual counseling, children’s counseling and grief education for 13 months following the loss of a hospice patient in our care.
